[ Woman, Life, Freedom ]
These posters were created in response to the Woman, Life, Freedom movement in Iran, a movement that became a global symbol of resistance, dignity, and the fight for basic human rights. Through a carpet-inspired visual language, the series reflects the courage and resilience of the Iranian people, especially women, whose voices became the center of this uprising.
Each element within the compositions was carefully designed to carry symbolic meaning and contribute to the narrative. The use of Persian carpets was intentional. Beyond being one of Iran’s most recognized cultural art forms, carpets hold generations of memory, identity, labor, and storytelling woven into them. By reinterpreting this traditional medium, the project connects cultural heritage with contemporary resistance, drawing attention to the ongoing struggle for freedom in Iran.
